Grace Gawlinski

Grace A. Gawlinski of Stoneham and a former East Boston resident died Friday November 4 in Winchester at age 95. She was born in Boston on October 12, 1921 and was the daughter of the late Hugh and Ellen (O'Neil) Donahue. Mrs. Gawlinski was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of East Boston High School. She later worked for the Law Offices of Atty. William J. Lee of Wakefield. She had been a resident of the Fuller House of Stoneham.

Mrs. Gawlinski was the beloved wife of the late Edward T. Gawlinski. She was the loving mother of Edward T. Gawlinski, PhD and his wife Anna of PA, Jane E. Welch and her husband Tom of Wakefield and Gail McGuiness, M.D. and her husband William Bell, M.D. of No. Carolina. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alina and Colin Gawlinski. She is pre-deceased by her nine siblings.

Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham Monday Nov. 7 beginning at 8am followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
