Grace Alleca

Grace Maria Alleca , 89, a life long resident of Wakefield, died on Thursday, January 26 at the Wilmington Health Care Center.

Born in Wakefield on February 24, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosalie (LoPorto) Terravecchia.

Mrs. Alleca was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1940. She had worked as an assembler at Compugraphic in Wilmington and had also worked as a waitress at the Towne Lyne House and the Colonial in Lynnfield. She was a member of St. Florence Church in Wakefield.

Mrs. Alleca is survived by her 3 sons, Kenneth Alleca of Wakefield, Richard Alleca of Dracut and Charles Alleca of Reading and her sister Mary Piccolo of Manchester, NH. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
