Grace Sorensen

Grace S. Sorensen, 85, of Wakefield, died Thursday, July 3 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Boston on March 31, 1923 she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Thora (Edwardson) Sorensen.

Mrs. Sorensen had been a Wakefield resident since 1955. She was a Graduate of Winthrop High School, Class of 1941 and the Chandler School of Business in Boston, Class of 1943. Mrs. Sorensen was a member of the Sons of Norway and the Order of the Eastern Star.

She was the wife of the late George Sorensen. Mrs. Sorensen is survived by her three children; Glenn Sorensen and his wife Yvonne of North Reading, Karen Sorensen of CO and Sonia Fuller and her husband Craig of Wakefield. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Mrs. Sorensen was predeceased by her brother Earle Sorensen.

A funeral service will be held in the First Parish Congregational Church, 1 Church St, Wakefield, Monday, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. There are no calling hours.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
