Harris Cusick

Harris A . Cusick , 72 of Wakefield, formerly of Winthrop died Saturday June 23 at the Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea.

Born in Winthrop March 6, 1940 he was the son of the late George and Margaret (Barter) Cusick .

Harris was a graduate of Winthrop High School. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Era. Harris was a member of the American Legion Post 63 of Wakefield and Post 146 in Winthrop. He was formerly an Assessor for the Town of Wakefield from 1987 to 1993. He was retired from the Project Management Department at Stone & Webster of Boston.

Harris is survived by his son Casey H. Cusick and his wife Antoinette of Miami, FL, his former wife Sheila (Palumbo) Cusick , a sister Georgia Patterson of Lexington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday 4-8 p.m.

Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
