Harry Boccelli

Harry V . "Muzzy" Boccelli , 83, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn and Wakefield died on Monday, November 3 at his home surrounded by his loving family, after a brief illness.

Born in Wakefield on February 24, 1925, he was the son of the late Sorcorso and Rosina (Sateriale) Boccelli .

Mr. Boccelli attended Wakefield Public Schools. During World War II he served in the US Army. Mr. Boccelli had retired from Pepsi Cola as a truck driver in 1986. He was a member of the Crystal Community Club in Wakefield.

Mr. Boccelli was the husband of Jennie (Faragi) Boccelli of 62 years. He was the father of Richard S. Boccelli and his wife Barbara of Peabody, Sharon Boccelli and her spouse Ingrid of VT, Robin Caruso and her husband Jerry of Gardner and the late Harry V . Boccelli , Jr. and his wife the late Theresa Boccelli . He was the brother of Frank Boccelli of Falmouth, Augustine Boccelli of FL, Samuel Boccelli of Wakefield, Gilda DiPerri of Wakefield, Lorraine Faragi of Saugus and the late Nicholas Boccelli and Mary Bosco. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 8:00AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 9:00 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
