Helen C. Boutiette, 79, of Wakefield, passed away at her home on Friday, Jan. 30.

Born in Worcester on November 23, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Kasmirez and Karolina (Traska) Rembiszewski.


Mrs. Boutiette was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Worcester and the Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing. She was a retired Registered Nurse with the American Red Cross. Helen had also worked for the VA Hospital in Boston, the Winchester Hospital and the Arnold House in Stoneham.


Mrs. Boutiette was the wife of Richard Boutiette. She is survived by their children Judith A. Boutiette of Wakefield and John R. Boutiette of Watertown. Helen was the sister of Mary Seaver of South Grafton and the late Joseph and Charles Rembiszewski, Lucy Kuras, Charlotte Slowatycki, Ann Hanley and Theresa Karazia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Tuesday February 3 at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 – 8 PM. Interment, Forest Glade Cemetery, Wakefield.
