Helen Dolan

Helen P. Dolan, 92, of Stoneham, died on Tuesday, January 6 at her residence.

Born in Malden on September 23, 1922, she was the daughter of the late James A. and Catherine E. (Reardon) Marr.

Helen was a graduate of Girls Catholic High School. She had been a resident of Penny Lane for over 61 years. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great booster for the town of Stoneham. She also enjoyed knitting, reading and watching the Patriots.

Helen was the wife of the late John J. Dolan. She is survived by her five children; Thomas K. Dolan, Janis Dolan Naumann, James P. Dolan, Terrence P. Dolan and Jacquelyn Dolan Cail and her four grandchildren; Jameson J. Dolan, Tyler A. Dolan, Rachel M. Cail and John P. Cail. Mrs. Dolan was predeceased by her sister Katherine A. Quinn.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Friday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 to 8pm. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.
