Helen F . O'Leary , 91, of Reading, formerly of Weymouth died on Tuesday, December 16 at her home.

Born in Boston on August 8, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Haggerty) Griffin.

Mrs. O'Leary was raised in Boston and was a graduate of Dorchester, High School. She was a retired Personnel Director for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Revenue.

Mrs. O'Leary was the wife of the late Lewis M. O'Leary . She was the mother of James F . O'Leary and his wife Paula of Reading, Janet F . Amrock and her husband Paul of Wilmington and Virginia M. Bogan and her husband James of Salina, KS. She was the sister of Virginia Byrne of S. Boston and the late William, Jack and Florence Griffin, Frances Allen and Evelyn O'Brien. Grandmother of Kelly Beaumont of Chelsea, Jason Amrock of N. Reading, Jenna Iannelli of E. Boston and Justin and Shannon O'Leary of Reading. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kelly Beaumont of Chelsea, Jason Amrock of N. Reading, Jenna Iannelli of E. Boston and Justin and Shannon O'Leary of Reading.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield, on Friday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Agnes Church, 186 Woburn St., Reading at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Milton Cemetery in Milton.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
