Helen Duncan

Helen L . Duncan , 98, of Stoneham died on Tuesday, June 2 at the Arnold House in Stoneham.

Born in Boston on March 17, 1911 she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Christina (Paton) Duncan .

Mrs. Duncan was a graduate of Quincy High School and Boston University where she earned a degree in Education. She was a retired teacher at Pollard Elementary School in Quincy. After her retirement in 1981 she wintered in Coconut Creek Florida and summered at Wollaston Beach in Quincy.

Mrs. Duncan was the sister of the late Gordon T. Duncan and Margaret MacLeod. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy on Saturday August 15 at 11 am.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
