Helen M . Jennings , 83, of Stoneham died on Wednesday, November 7 at her residence.

Born in Winchester on June 14, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Walter and Blanche (Kizka) Konopacka.

Mrs. Jennings was a lifelong resident of Stoneham. She was a graduate of St. Patrick High School and Regis College where she earned her degree in Sociology. Mrs. Jennings was a retired school teacher for St. Patrick School. She was an active member of St. Patrick Parish in Stoneham and served on many church organizations.

Mrs. Jennings was the wife of the late Leo J. Jennings . She is survived by her sister Loretta Konopacka of Stoneham, her three nieces; Carolyn Konopacka of Stoneham, Deborah Hubanak of Somerville and Barbara Lynch of Florida and her nephew Stephen Konopacka of Stoneham. Mrs. Jennings was predeceased by her brother Stanley Konopacka and her sister Wanda Berson.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
