Helen M . Miller , 90, of North Andover formerly of Lynnfield died on Friday, November 26 at The Meadows in North Andover.

Born in Gordon, PA on October 9, 1920 she was the daughter of the late Harry and Violet (Stroehecker) Myers. After graduating from Nursing School at Robert Packard Hospital in Pennsylvania she married John W. Miller of Frackville, PA. Helen is survived by her son, John M . Miller & his wife Liz and their children Gregory, Natalie & Grant of Texas, and her daughters Susan J. Rielly and her husband Timothy of Brockton, and Wendy E. Noll & her husband Mark and their children Eric, Ethan & Justen of Oregon.

Helen loved her friends and family, enjoyed traveling, and reaching out to help others. She and her husband adopted a Laotian family, the Rattanasones – Damdouane and Sengchanh and their children, Bobby, Nyana, Dino and Sara.

She was a member of Centre Congregational Church in Lynnfield and was also a member of PEO, the Lynnfield Garden Club, the Reading Arts & Crafts Guild, and the Edgewood flower committee. Helen loved gardening and flowers and had an extensive knowledge of herbs.

The family wishes to thank Kathy Babbin for her care of Helen during the last several years, as well as all the staff at The Meadows.

A private interment will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield at a later date.

In lieu of flowers contributions in Helen's name may be made to Centre Congregational Church 5 Summer St. Lynnfield, MA 01940.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home in Wakefield.
