Helen Morton

Helen J. Morton, 94, of Wakefield died Saturday, August 29 at the Winchester Nursing Center.

Born in Pepperell on December 7, 1914 she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Julia (Olah) Toth.

Mrs. Morton was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1932. She had been a Wakefield resident since 1942. Mrs. Morton was a member of the First Parish Congregational Church and the Bear Hill Golf Club since 1952.

Mrs. Morton is survived by her husband Walter E. Morton, her son Stuart Morton and his wife Carolyn of Calais, VT, her daughter Stevia McQuillen and her husband Dennis of North Reading and her two sisters; Emma Cummings of Virginia Beach, VA, and Louise Everett of North Miami, FL. She is also survived by her six grandchildren; Matthew, Erin, Katherine, Adrienne, Samantha, and Stevia and her great grandson Miles.

A Funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 1pm. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home prior to the service from 11:30am to 1pm.

Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
