Helen Sheppard

Helen M. Sheppard, 92, of Wakefield died Wednesday June 3 at the Pilgrim Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Center in Peabody.

Born in Chelsea on November 16, 1916 she was the daughter of the late Paul & Stella (Molas) Bazylinski.

Mrs. Sheppard was raised in Chelsea and had been a Wakefield resident since 1980. She had worked for the former PolyPaks Company of Wakefield and was a member of St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Sheppard was the wife of the late John K. Sheppard. She is survived by her daughter Barbara A. Muise and her husband Lester of Wakefield, her brother Charles Bazylinski of South Weymouth and her sister Lorraine Meuse of Hudson. She is also survived by two grandchildren, Gail Farrington and her husband Bruce and Robert Muise and two great grandchildren, Kara and Kelli Farrington. Mrs. Sheppard was predeceased by her three brothers, Edward, Walter and Chester Bazylinski.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 – 5 pm . Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
