Helen "Gracie" Silva

Helen G. “Gracie” Silva, age 85 of Wakefield and formerly of Somerville and Malden died August 8 in Boston. She was born in Cambridge on June 30,1939 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Riordan) Burgess. She was raised in Somerville and was a graduate of Saint Mary High School of Cambridge. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Department of Revenue. She retired at age 80. 

Mrs. Silva was the beloved wife of Edward J. Silva. She was the loving mother of Lawrence Silva and Cynthia Ruppel. She was the sister- in- law of Henry and Karen Silva and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Her Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Avenue Wakefield on Friday August 16 at 11:00. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at Funeral Home on Thursday from 4-7pm.
