Helen Taylor

Helen F. Taylor, 89, of Wakefield, died Monday, October 5 at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading.

Born in Wakefield on November 27, 1919 she was the daughter of the late Edward and Alice (Gartland) Muse.

Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1938 and Wilfred Academy of Boston. She was a resident of Wakefield New Hampshire for 32 years before moving back to Wakefield in October of 2003. Mrs. Taylor was active in the McCarthy Senior Center of Wakefield. She had worked for Eastern Board Realtors from 1964 to 1974.

Mrs. Taylor was the wife of the late William L. Taylor. She was the mother of William K. Taylor of IL, and the late Jean Taylor. Sister of the late Edward Muse. Grandmother of Michelle Auten and Chad Taylor. Also survived by 2 great grandchildren.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St, Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

Memorial contributions may be made to the McCarthy Senior Center, Entertainment Fund, 30 Converse St, Wakefield, MA 01880.
