Helen Terfry

Helen M. Terfry, 82, a Wakefield resident for the past 50 years, died Monday, February 2 at the Winchester Hospital.

Born in Boston on August 26, 1926, she was the daughter of the late William B. and Helen (Jansen) Flynn.

Mrs. Terfry was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1943. She was the owner of Terfry Realty in Wakefield. She was a member and past president of the Women's Council of Realtor's in Middlesex.

Mrs. Terfry is survived by her husband Jack Terfry, her son John Terfry & his wife Gail of Gloucester and her two daughters; Susan Hawthorn & her late husband Robert of Canyon County, CA and Kathleen A. Stande & her husband Kevin of Salem, NH. She is also survived by her four grandchildren; Jon Salalayko, Kristen, Christopher and Michael Terfry.

A funeral service will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home prior to the service starting at 5 PM.
