Helen T. Villemaire

Helen T. Villemaire (nee Keating), 80, of Salem, NH, peacefully passed away on April 24, 2024, surrounded by her devoted family. Helen was the beloved wife of the late Arthur H. Villemaire. Loving mother of Linda A. Satkwich and her late husband Peter (Windham, NH), Lisa A. Gorski and her husband Michael (Sandown, NH), Arthur H. Villemaire, Jr. (Stoneham, MA) and James F. Villemaire (Salem, NH). Cherished grandmother of Lauren (Los Angeles, CA) and Tayla (Windham, NH) Satkwich, Emily Ritacco and her husband Nicholas (Lynnfield, MA) and Nicholas Gorski and his fiancée Brianna (Portsmouth, NH). Adoring great grandmother of Henry, Olivia, and Charlotte Ritacco. Sister of the late James Keating and his late wife Josephine (Lynnfield, MA), Geraldine Gardner and her late husband Bernard (Arlington, MA) and Ronald Keating and his wife Lee (Arlington, MA).

Helen was an active member of the Salem Lions Club, Salem Area Women’s Club, and Ingram Senior Center.

Helen’s warmth, kindness, and dedication to her community left an indelible mark on the lives of those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. 

A Graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, North Ave., Wakefield on Monday, April 29 at 11am.  Arrangements in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
