Herbert Ross, Jr.

Herbert L. Ross, Jr. 57, a life long resident of Lynnfield, died on Sunday, March 8 at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington.

Born in Lynn on November 1, 1951, he was the son of the late Herbert L. and Gertrude M. (Buchanan) Ross.

Mr. Ross was a graduate of Lynnfield High School, Class of 1970 and Sylvania Technical School. He was a Finish Painter for Don Ross & Son Painting and Decorating in Lynnfield. He also enjoyed playing the keyboard and piano with his band Evolution.

Mr. Ross was the beloved husband of Elaine (DiPietro) Ross. Brother of Donald R. Ross and David Ross of Lynnfield, Margo Ross of Nashua, NH and the late Laurence Ross, Robert F. Ross Mildred Ross-Palleschi and Beatrice Ross Sullivan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Athanasius Church, 300 Haverhill St., Reading at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home on Wednesday 4-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the American Lung Assoc., 460 Totten Pond Rd., Suite 400, Waltham, MA 02451
