Irmgard Greulich

Irmgard Luise Greulich , 89, of Lynnfield died on Friday, May 20 at her residence.

Born Brandenburg, Germany on March 21, 1922 she was the daughter of the late Ernst and Frieda (Firus) Baer.

Mrs. Greulich was raised and educated in Brandenburg, Germany. While living in Germany she was a grammar school teacher. She moved to the United States in 1956.

She is survived by her husband Gunther Greulich , her two sons; Peter J. Greulich and his wife Judith of Wakefield and Knut M. Greulich and his wife Kelley of Merrimack, NH, her three granddaughters; Ashley, Hannah and Kimberly and her sister Ruth Richter of Germany. She was predeceased by her brother Siegfried Baer.

A graveside service will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery, Forest Hill Ave, Lynnfield on Tuesday at 11am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield, on Monday from 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the German Aid Society of Boston, P.O. Box 207, Walpole, MA 02081.
