Jacquelyn M. Muise

Jacquelyn M. Muise, age 93 of Dracut, formerly of Haverhill and Wakefield, died after a long battle of dementia on Thursday January 2 at the Giving Tree Senior Living Center in Dracut.

She was born in Melrose on May 3, 1931, and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Legg) White. 

Jackie was raised in Melrose and was a graduate of Melrose High School. She was a long-time resident of Wakefield, where she worked at the Curley Insurance Agency for over 20 years. She was also a member of St. Joseph Parish. Jackie had been a resident of Haverhill since 2001. 

She was the beloved wife of the late Irving L. Muise. She was the loving mother of Doreen Stene and her partner Reuben McKelvey of Colorado, Linda Crowe and her late husband Jack of Haverhill, Cindy Muise of Haverhill, Donna Belanger and her husband Bob of Derry, NH., and the late Judy Chinn and her husband Daryl. She was the sister of the late James White. Jacquelyn is also survived by her 10 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren. 

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday January 9 in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield prior to the Mass from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
