James L. Allen, 66, of Stoneham died on Saturday, March 23 at his residence.
Born in Medford on December 31, 1946, he was the son of the late Sherman and Mildred (Deagle) Allen.
Mr. Allen was a life long Stoneham resident. He was a graduate of the first graduating class at Arlington Catholic High School, Class of 1964. Mr. Allen had served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a Real Estate Broker for Century 21 in Stoneham and had also worked as a Contractor in Stoneham.
Mr. Allen is survived by his three children; Jason Bodah, Jeff Bodah and Erin Allen all of Stoneham, his two brothers; John Allen and his wife Joan of FL and Joseph Allen of Chelsea, his three sisters; Joan Sadowski and her husband Paul of Wilmington, Janice Harris and her husband Frank of GA and Judy Auerbach and her husband Mark of Winthrop, his three grandchildren; Jeffrey Bodah, Jayden LaMae and Joseph Robbilard and his Goddaughter Amanda Gullage of Wakefield. He is also survived by his dear friends Jean and Joe Gullage of Wakefield, His siser-in-law Betty Allen and several nieces and nephews.Mr. Allen was predeceased by his brother Jerry Allen.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church 73 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-8pm.
