Born in Winchester on December 28, 1941 he was the son of the late

Rafferty

James
was raised in Stoneham and was a member of St. Patrick Church. He was a life long dedicated Stoneham sports fan and was recently inducted into the Stoneham High School Hall of Fame.
James
was a maintenance man for the Knights of Columbus and Redman Hall in Stoneham.
He was the beloved brother of Kevin
Rafferty
and wife Diane of North Carolina, Joan Bemis and husband Dick of Burlington and Mary Yianacopolus and husband Louie of Stoneham. Also lovingly survived by 29 nieces and nephews. "We miss you already" Lymgb
His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 a.m. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Interment will be at St. Patrick, Cemetery in Stoneham.
