James Lupien

James W. Lupien "Big Jim", 70 of Windham, NH formerly of Wakefield, MA died Sunday June 10, at the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH.

Born in Malden, MA March 23, 1942 he was the son of the late Adrian and Dorothy (O'Brien) Lupien.

Jim was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1960, and Wentworth Institute of Technology. He was the founder and President of Hydroflow, Inc. Jim was currently employed with Campbell Grinding Co., Micro Technologies Division in Spring Lake, MI. He held multiple patents related to industrial liquid filtration.

Jim enjoyed gardening, antique cars (especially Miss Daisy, his 1950 Mercury) but he mostly enjoyed spending time with his family. His favorite saying was "Don't be shy"

Jim was the beloved husband of Marjorie A. (Chisholm) Lupien. He was the loving father of Marianne Baker and husband Keith of Danvers, James Lupien and wife Kathy of Manchester, NH, Michelle Perry and husband Al of Plaistow, NH, Andrew Lupien and wife Charlene of Wakefield, and Peter Lupien and wife Jennifer of N. Reading. Jim was the Big papa of 14 grandchildren, Casey, Corey,
Jackie and husband Max, Michayla, Kevin, Alex, Peter, Matthew, Jimmy, Kirstin, Andrew, Samantha, John and Quinn. Brother of Adrian Lupien and wife Barbara of Scottsdale, AZ, and Adele Lee of Hopkinton. Brother in law of Carol Chisholm of Lynnfield.

The funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, Lakeside Cemetery, Wakefield.
