James D. McCann

James D.McCann, of Lynnfield, passed away on January 31, 2025 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Beloved husband of Diane, loving father of Heidi McCann, PhD and her husband Michael Culkin, Raleigh, NC and Todd McCann and his wife Alissa, West Acton, MA and two wonderful grandchildren James “Jamie” and Skylar.

A lover of sports and American history. He was a teacher at Reading Memorial High School.

He was predeceased by his parents Thomas and Mildred (McDonald) McCann and two older brothers Thomas and John McCann.

The McCann family would like to extend their gratitude to the Kaplan House for their kindness.

A family service will be held in the Spring.
