James Mussells

James G. Mussells, 70, of AuSable Forks, NY died on Sunday, May 6 at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH.

Born in Jacksonville, FL on December 22, 1941 he was the son of the late George A. and Joan C. (Humphrey) Mussells.

Jim was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1959, in Massachusetts. During the Vietnam Era he served in the U. S. Army with the Green Beret. He was a self employed welder and carpenter.

Jim had lived in New Hampshire and Vermont before moving to New York seven years ago. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus.

Jim was the husband of Mary H. (Emilianowicz) Mussells. He was the father of James J. Mussells and his wife Brenda of Roy, UT and Patricia C. Maxwell and her husband Dallas of Malta, MT. He was the brother of John Mussells and his wife Premilla of Washington, DC, Judy Mussells of Newburyport, Connie Mussells and her husband John of Jacksonville, FL and the late Jeanette Mussells. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren, Travis, MyKenzie, Sage and Clara.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 11 o'clock. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
