James Wilson , Jr ., 85, of Stoneham died on Thursday, November 13 at his residence.
Born in Medford on July 23, 1929, he was the son of the late James and Marguerite (Saunders) Wilson .
Mr. Wilson was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1947 and Bentley School of Business, Class of 1958. He served in the Air National Guard in the 567th Marching Band. Mr. Wilson had been a Stoneham resident since 1962. He was a member of St. Patrick Parish in Stoneham. Mr. Wilson was a retired Accountant from Aon Corporation in Boston. He was also a Civil War enthusiast.
Mr. Wilson was the husband of the late Marjorie "Joan" (Tate) Wilson . He is survived by his son James T. Wilson of Lincoln, RI, his daughter Barbara J. Pesaturo of Woburn, his sister Dorothy Morton of Medford and his granddaughter Katherine Pesaturo. Mr. Wilson is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Wilson , his sister Marguerite Domenicis and his step sister Ida V. Fleming.
His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham, MA 02180.
