James Wiswall

James J. Wiswall, age 62, of Stoneham died Saturday, December 1 at his residence.

Born in Lynn on October 24, 1956 he was the son of the late James G. and Jeanette (Maguire) Wiswall.

Mr. Wiswall was raised in Saugus and was a graduate of Saugus High School in 1975. He had been a longtime Stoneham resident, having lived in the area for more than 30 years and was a member of St. Patrick Church. He was the owner of North Shore Protection, Inc. of Stoneham.

Mr. Wiswall grew up surrounding himself with family and friends that he has continued to hold closely throughout his life. He was a standout baseball and football player in high school, where he developed a passion for sports. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, North Conway, New Hampshire, and long rides on his Harley. He was always one for a good laugh and made it a point to make everyones day a little better. He was caring, compassionate, and completely selfless. The one thing he cared the most about was spending time with his family. He was a truly loving man in every aspect.

He was the beloved husband of Kelly (O'Brien) Wiswall. He was the loving father of Mickey Wiswall and Nicole Cronin of Burlington, Reanna and husband Sean Murphy of Stoneham, Dale Crispin and fiancé Dallas Dodd and their son Jameson of VT, Michael Gallant, and Olivia and Victoria Wiswall, all of Stoneham. He was the brother of Janice Pini, Denise Palermo, and Diane Wiswall.

His Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Thursday at 9 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m on Wednesday. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, Attn: Office of Development, 2900 N. Rocky Point Dr., Tampa, FL 33607.
