Jane K . Beaver of Stoneham died Saturday October 17 at age 75. Born in Marlboro, MA on August 30, 1934 she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Viola (Charron) McMahon. Mrs. Beaver was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate Our Lady of Nazareth Academy in Wakefield and also the University of Lowell Teachers College. She had a long career in education and taught in the Stoneham, Wakefield and North Reading Public School systems and retired from teaching in 2000 from St. Joseph Elementary School in Wakefield. She had been a Stoneham resident for 32 years and was a communicant of St. Joseph Church.

Mrs. Beaver was the wife of the late Richard J. Beaver . She was the mother of Michael P. and Thomas J. Beaver of Wakefield and Katherine A. Beaver of Stoneham. She was the sister of Jack McMahon and Sheila McMahon of Maine and the late Mary Ann Hannon. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren, Patrick, Simone, Meagan and Abigail.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale. Ave. Wakefield Wednesday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Tuesday 4-8 PM. Interment will be private at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Sawtelle Family Hospice House 320 Haverhill St. Reading, MA 01867.
