Janet Merry

Janet A . Merry , 78, of Reading and formerly Wakefield died Tuesday January 17 at the Golden Living Center of Melrose.

Born in Melrose on April 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Howard F. and Alice L. (Seavey) Achorn.

Janet was raised in Wakefield and was a graduate of Wakefield High School class of 1951. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Reading, and Meadowbrook Golf Club in Reading.

Janet was the wife of David G. Merry . She was the mother of Craig D. Merry and his wife Lisa of Wakefield and Carol J. Sanford and her husband David of Pennington, NJ. Mrs. Merry was the grandmother of Alyssa and Lindsay Sanford and William R. Merry .

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave Wakefield on Friday at 11:00 AM. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Thurs 4 – 7 PM.

Interment, Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
