Janet I. Restuccia, age 90 of Danvers and formerly of Lynnfield and Reading died at her home on February 16. Born in Rochester, NY on August 26, 1922 the daughter of the late Albert S. & Irene C. (Popp) Dailey.
Mrs. Restuccia was raised in New York and joined the United States Navy as a WAVE during W.W.II where she met her husband with whom she shared 67 years of marriage, the late Lawrence J. Restuccia, Jr. Upon their discharge in 1945 they settled in New England to raise their family. Janet was an accomplished homemaker, blessed with a creative soul, great faith and an indomitable spirit. She had been a member of the Reading Art Association and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be sadly missed.
Mrs. Restuccia was the mother of Karen Smith & husband Richard of Wakefield, Michael Restuccia & wife Stephanie of NY and Alice Dailey & partner Toni Encarnacao of Danvers. She was the sister of Albert & Marvin Dailey and Joan Daniels. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew & Ryan Hurley and Danielle & Heather Restuccia and four great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 11:00 o'clock. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
