Jayne Johnson

Jayne M. Johnson, 47, a lifelong resident of Wakefield, died on Tuesday, July 1 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Winchester on April 29, 1961, she was the daughter of Robert E. Johnson of Wakefield and the late Marion A. (Riley) Johnson.

Ms. Johnson was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1979 and Merrimac College, Class of 1983. She was a retired surgical technologist at the Winchester Hospital and had also worked at the Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. Ms. Johnson was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

In addition to her father she is survived by her two brothers, Jeffrey R. Johnson and his wife Cynthia of Topsfield and Timothy J. Johnson and his fiancé Ann Marie Ponze of Newton. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11 o'clock. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
