Jean H. Carlson, of Wakefield, died on Saturday, August 11 at the Golden Living Center in Melrose.
Born on May 16, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Axel J. and Alice (Fredenbo) Carlson.
Ms. Carlson was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1947 and Katherine Gibbs School, Class of 1949. She was a member of the Wakefield-Lynnfield United Methodist Church in Wakefield.
Ms. Carlson is survived by many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield at 9:30am. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield
