Jennie Strogilis

Jennie R . Strogilis , age 100 of Stoneham died February 8 in Wakefield. She was born on August 29, 1914 and was the daughter of the late Donald and Angelina (Nutile) Orsillo. Mrs. Strogilis was raised in Stoneham and was a graduate of Stoneham High School. She was a member of the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church of Woburn. She had worked for the former Woolworth's Department Store of Stoneham and also in her late husband's sign business.

Mrs Strogilis was the beloved wife of the late William Strogilis . She was also the loving mother of the late Charles "Chucky" Strogilis . She is survived by her brother Vincent Orsillo and wife Ann of Stoneham and the late Lou, Fran, Don, Joe, Larry, Bob and Rose Orsillo and Florence Moriello. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral service will be held in the Annunciation of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church 70 Montvale Ave. Woburn on Saturday at 12 Noon. Interment will be at Lindenwood Cemetery in Stoneham. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Friday from 3-7pm.
