Jessie F. Goscinak, 91, of Everett, formerly of Stoneham, died on Saturday, August 16 at Greystone Farm at Salem in Salem, NH.
Born in Everett on January 26, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Sabina (Bobinski) Flis.
Mrs. Goscinak was raised in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1935. She was the former owner of Plymouth Market on Plymouth Street in Everett.
Mrs. Goscinak was a resident of Stoneham for 18 years, and worked at the Middlesex County Bank in Stoneham and the Stoneham Savings Bank until she was 89 years old. She has also resided in Wakefield for a time. She was a member of the Polish Women's Professional Club in Chelsea and the Stoneham Red Cross.
Mrs. Goscinak was the wife of the late James Federowski and the late Alfred Goscinak. She was the mother of Frank Federowski and his wife Helen of Hampstead, NH and the stepmother of Frederick Goscinak of Everett. She was also the grandmother of Erik, Anya, and Stacia Federowski. Mrs. Gosinak was predeceased by her brother Frank Flis.
Her funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St. Stoneham Thursday at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass in St. Stanislaus Church, 163 Chestnut St. Chelsea at 11 AM. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
