Jill Latimer Rich

Jill Latimer Rich, 73, of Boxford, MA and formerly of North Dighton, MA passed away on January 27 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital with her husband Dan Rich by her side and surrounded by family.

Jill was born on October 8, 1950, in Fall River, MA to Roy and Betsy Latimer. She grew up in North Dighton, MA. She graduated from Pioneer Valley Academy in 1968. She attended Atlantic Union College and then transferred to Loma Linda University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing in 1972. This is also where she met her husband, Dan Rich. She worked at White Memorial Hospital in Los Angeles while her husband was doing his internship and then at Loma Linda University Hospital while he was doing his residency and fellowship.

She retired from nursing when her first son was born. She returned to MA after her husband’s fellowship in Radiology. There they raised their family of four children. Her favorite times were hosting family holidays, where there was always room for one more. She was very active in the children’s division of her Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

She leaves behind her brother Jeffery Latimer and his wife Dania of Centerville, MA and sister Holly Nosek and her husband Jon of Centerville, MA.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Dan Rich, MD, her children Ryan Rich and his wife Andrea of Oceanside, CA, Adam Rich and wife Brandy of Leominster, MA, Ashley Rich of Medford, OR, and Megan Rich of Medford, OR. She also leaves behind her granddaughters Olivia Rich, Solana Rich, Hannah Rich, and Lily Rich and many nieces and nephews.

Burial will be private. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday February 3, 2024 at Stoneham Memorial Church, 29 Maple Street, Stoneham, MA 02180 at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
