Joan Carroll

Joan A. Carroll of Norton and formerly of Lynnfield died October 9 in Norton after a long period of failing health. She was 80 years of age.

Born October 9, 1930 she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Evelyn (Ingraham) Campbell. She was raised in Maine and was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute of Houlton, ME.

Mrs. Carroll was the wife of the late Frederick E. Carroll. She was the mother of Mark F. Carroll and wife Laurinda of Norton and Cathy Barton and husband Frank of Annapolis, MD. Survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

A funeral service will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield, Thursday at 10 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 – 8 P.M. Interment will be at Willow Cemetery in Lynnfield.
