Joan Mccall

Joan A. McCall of Wakefield, age 81 died Friday March 12, 2010. Born in Boston on September 25, 1929 she was the daughter of the late Richard A. & Josephine (Hayes) Kelley. Mrs. McCall was a retired consultant in the insurance industry. She had lived on the South Shore before making her home in Wakefield many years ago. After her retirement she continued to be active working for the A.A.R.P., the Wakefield Housing Authority and volunteering at the former Boston Regional Medical Center of Stoneham. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Wakefield.

She was the wife of the late E. Hoover McCall. She was the sister of the late Richard & Francis Kelley, Marie Taylor, Virginia Flynn and Josephine Mathison.

Her funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield Wednesday at 10:00. Relatives and friend are invited to attend.
Interment will be held at 1:00pm at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree.
