Joanne M . Taylor , 71, of Saugus died on Friday, August 9 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Malden on October 15, 1941, she was the daughter of the late William and Edna (Ryan) Smith.

Mrs. Taylor was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 1959. She had been a resident of Saugus since 1968.

Mrs. Taylor was the beloved wife of Richard E. Taylor . Loving mother of Linda M . Kyes and her husband Kevin and Lisa A. Trainor all of Lynnfield. She was the sister of William B. Smith of Wakefield, Kathleen A. Brusseau of Stoneham and Nancy J. Arnott and her husband David of Manchester by the Sea. Mrs. Taylor was the devoted grandmother of Devon and Cole Trainor and Kaitlin and Ryan Kyes.

Her funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Tuesday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in the Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Monday from 5-8pm. Interment will be at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty St., Danvers, MA 01923.
