John Cornetta

John C . Cornetta of Wakefield died Saturday April 24 at age 59. Born in Cambridge, MA on June 7, 1950 he was the son of Josephine (Fagone) Cornetta of Wakefield and the late Angelo Cornetta . John was raised in East Boston and was a graduate of Boston Technical High School and later from Boston State College. He worked for many years in the High Tech field and was self employed as a Consultant in the field at the time of his death. He had been a Wakefield resident for the past 30 years.

In addition to his mother John is survived by his wife Dorothea C . (MacLeod). He was the father of Leslie Ann Jennings and Robert J. Cornetta both of Wakefield. He is also survived by many cousins.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Thursday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church 173 Albion St. Wakefield at 10:00. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 pm. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
