John Foley, Sr.

John T. Foley, Sr., 56, of Medford died on Friday, March 24 at his residence.
Born in Melrose on February 6, 1961, he was the loving son of Patricia (Lucey) Foley of Melrose and the late Al Foley.
John was a graduate of Melrose High School, Class of 1980. He was a tractor trailer driver for the U.S. Postal Service in South Boston. John enjoyed fishing, listening to music and riding his motorcycle. John also served in the United States Army Reserves.
In addition to his mother, John is survived by his beloved wife Carol A. (Presho) Foley, his two loving sons; John T. Foley, Jr. & Kevin J. Foley both of Medford. He was the brother of Patty Ray & her husband Bob of Westminster, Michele Desmond of Stoneham, Maureen Bhatti & her husband Altaf of Wilmington, Kathleen Samayoa of Peabody, & Coleen Auterio of No. Andover.
His Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 10:30am followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 11:30am. Visitation for relatives & friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4-7pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.
