John Duggan

John J . Duggan , 63, of Wakefield died Wednesday February 4 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Chelsea on November 6, 1945 he was the son of the late Arthur J . & Pauline A. (Weinacker) Duggan . Mr. Duggan was raised in Malden and had worked for many years for General Electric of Lynn as a Heat Treater and was a member of the IUE Local # 201. He had served in the Massachusetts National Guard and had been a Wakefield resident for the past 44 years.

Mr. Duggan is survived by his wife Judith E. (Muehlig) Duggan . He was the father of Steven Sordillo of Methuen, Erik Sordillo of Peabody, Andrea Murphy of Salem, NH and David Meech of Douglas. He is also survived by his two brothers, Michael Duggan of Boston and Robert Duggan of Lynn as well as his 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

His funeral will be held in the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Monday at 11:00 A.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visitation at the funeral home will be on Sunday from 1-4 PM. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery.
