John Frink

John J . Frink , 96, of Stoneham died on Saturday, April 23 at the Sunny Acres Nursing Center in Chelmsford.

Mr. Frink was born in Boston on June 24, 1914 and was raised in Charlestown. He was a graduate of Charlestown High School, Class of 1932. Mr. Frink had been a Stoneham resident since 1946. He had retired from the United States South Postal Annex in Boston. Mr. Frink had been an active member of the Stoneham V.F.W. and the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. He was also a member of St. Patrick's Parish in Stoneham and had enjoyed playing Bridge.

Mr. Frink was the husband of the late Julia (Kunasko). He is survived by his son Russell Frink and his wife Rosie of Billerica and his daughter Judith C. Frink and her husband Jerry Shannon of CA. Mr. Frink is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St, Stoneham on Wednesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick's Church 71 Central St, Stoneham at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-8pm. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham.
