John Leahy, Jr.
John F. Leahy, Jr. age 70 of Haverhill and formerly of No. Andover died suddenly July 4 at his home. Born in Boston on May 27, 1949 the son of Barbara (Farrell) of Canton and the late John F. Leahy.
He was raised in Canton and a graduate of Canton High School in 1967 and later graduated from Fisher Junior College. He served in Viet Nam with the United States Marines. Mr. Leahy had worked many years for the KRAFT Food Service of Peabody and also worked for the Lowell Lowell Regional Transit Authority from 1998 until his retirement in 2017.
Mr. Leahy was the beloved husband of Lorraine R. (Haddock) Leahy. He was the loving father of John J. Leahy of Danvers, Amanda Leahy of PA and Adam Leahy. He was also the brother of Joannie Leahy Ferzoco.
His Funeral Service will be held in the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home 322 Main St. Stoneham on Thursday July 11 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be held prior to the Service beginning at 11:00 am. Interment will be private.
