John Luciano

John P . Luciano , 91, of Wakefield died on Wednesday, December 7 in Reading.

Born in Wakefield on July 20, 1920 he was the son of the late Nunzio & Librata (Raddachio) Luciano .

Mr Luciano was a life long Wakefield resident and had retired as owner of Trio Furniture Frame Company of Lowell which he operated for many years. He served in the U.S. Army during W.W. II in Company D, 345th Engineer Battalion under the command of General George S. Patton. He was a member of St. Florence Church.

Mr. Luciano was the loving husband of 69 years to Helen M. (Marinelli.) Luciano . He is also survived by his two sons John P . Luciano , Jr. & his wife Jane of Salem and Stephen A. Luciano & his wife Judy of Wakefield and his daughter Nancy M. Gillespie & her husband Kevin of Reading. He was the brother of Anne Filoramo of Wakefield and the late Daniel and Antonio Luciano and Mary Keen. He is also survived by his grandchildren Gina Ronkowski, John Luciano , III, Danielle Gillespie and Michael & Kimberly Luciano and his great granddaughters Angelica & Isabella.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave. Wakefield Tuesday at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Florence Church 47 Butler Ave. Wakefield at 10:00. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery Wakefield. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home Monday 4-8pm.
