John Piskadlo

John J. Piskadlo, 67, of Wakefield died on Thursday, September 5 at the NSMC- Lynn Union Hospital in Lynn.

Born in Lawrence on December 13, 1945 he was the son of the late Kazimierz and Kunegunda (Prokup) Piskadlo.

John was a graduate of Fairlawn High School in New Jersey. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam Era. John had worked as a Sexton at the First Congregational Church in Stoneham.

He had been a Wakefield resident for 36 years and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Wakefield.

John was the husband of Dolores (Rosselle) Piskadlo. He was the beloved father of John J. Piskadlo, Jr. and his wife Lina of Boca Raton, FL and Kevin S. Piskadlo and Ryan M. Piskadlo both of Wakefield. He was the brother-in-law of Joe and Theresa Shamma. He is also survived by one grandchild, Mariana and several nieces.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Wednesday at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass in St. Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 a.m. A visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
