Born in Boston on August 24, 1933 he was the son of the late

and Deborah (Cahill)
Lynch

Mr.
Lynch
was a graduate of Malden Trade School in 1953. He had worked as a machine shop operator at Hancock Machines in Wakefield and as a custodian at the vocational high school in Wakefield. He also served in the Army during the Korean War.
Mr.
Lynch
is survived by his girlfriend Ada Chase of Manchester, NH his two nieces Kathlene Powers of CT and Maureen Powers of TX and his nephew Bill Powers of Danvers. In addition to his parents he was pre deceased by his step-parents Thomas and Katherine Powers, his step-brothers

, Bill, and Tom Powers, and his step-sisters Peggy McCarte and Mary Powers.
Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30am followed by a funeral mass at Joseph Church, 173 Albion St., Wakefield at 10 o'clock. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery Wakefield.
