John Yorks

John W . Yorks , 76, of Bristol, NH, formerly of Reading and Wakefield, died on Tuesday, July 22 at the Franklin Regional Hospital in Franklin, NH.

Born in Medford on February 14, 1932, he was the son of the late William R. and Sarah E. (MacVarish) Yorks .

Mr. Yorks was raised in Reading and was a graduate of Reading High School. He was a retired self employed land surveyor.

Mr. Yorks is survived by his wife, Shirley M. (LeBlanc), his two daughters Sandy Yorks of CA and Valerie Yorks of New Hampshire. He is also survived by his granddaughter Tanya Yorks of CA. Mr. Yorks was predeceased by his son Stephen W . Yorks and his daughter Sharon Yorks .

Funeral services will be private.

Arrangements are in the care of McDonald Funeral Home, Wakefield.
