Jon Hoffman

Jon D.S. Hoffman , 27, of Wakefield died suddenly on Wednesday, April 21.

Born in Stoneham on February 11, 1983, he was the son of David and Barbara (Kierstead) Hoffman .

Jon was a lifelong Wakefield resident. He was a graduate of Wakefield High School, Class of 2001 and I.T.T Technical School in Woburn. Jon was employed at Stone Technologies in Woburn. He served in the United States Marine Corps during 2002-2003

In addition to his parents, Jon is survived by his sister Kim O'Brien and her husband Richard of Methuen and his two beloved nieces; Kirbie and Reegan.

A funeral service will be held at the Vineyard Metro North Church, 47 Adams Ave, Saugus on Saturday at 10am. Relatives and friends may call at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Friday from 4-8pm. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jon D.S. Hoffman Memorial Fund to help support local military families, c/o the Saving Bank 357 Main St, Wakefield, MA 01880.
