Joseph DiGangi

Joseph A . DiGangi , 89, of Wakefield died on Wednesday, October 19 at the Bear Hill Nursing Center in Wakefield.

Born in Boston on January 16, 1922 he was the son of the late Natale and Pauline (Ferrizza) DiGangi .

Joseph was raised and educated in Wakefield. He was a retired mechanic for General Electric in Lynn. A veteran of World War II he served in the U. S. Army. Joseph was a member of St. Patrick Church in Stoneham and the Crystal Community Club in Wakefield.

He was the brother of Josephine Viera of Stoneham, and the late Mary, Mario, and Vincent DiGangi . He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Friday at 8 a.m. followed by a
Funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 9 a.m. Interment will be at Forest Glade Cemetery in Wakefield.
