Joseph Bruno

Joseph A. Bruno, 62, of Lynnfield died on Thursday, November 4 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.

Born in Boston on April 29, 1948 he was the son of the late Adam and Josephine (Renese) Bruno.

Mr. Bruno was a graduate of Revere High School, Class of 1966 and was also the Class president. He was also a graduate of Boston State College where he received his Master's Degree in Education. He was an unemployment consultant for USC – Unemployment Services Corp.

Mr. Bruno had been a Lynnfield resident for 32 years. He was a member of St. Maria Goretti Church in Lynnfield. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Salem Country Club.

Mr. Bruno was the husband of Andrea M. (O'Connor). He was the father of A.J. Bruno and Alex Bruno and his wife Janelle, all of Somerville and Greg Bruno and his wife Jessica of Lynnfield. He was the brother of Patti Bruno Rivero of Miami, FL and the late Adam Bruno. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

His funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave, Wakefield on Saturday at 9 a.m followed by a funeral mass in St. Maria Goretti Church, 112 Chestnut St, Lynnfield at 10 o'clock. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Friday (today) from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Lynnfield.
